Damian met with constituents Richard Stopes and his son Jay at the #Type1Catalyst parliamentary reception this week. Jay discussed how type 1 diabetes affects his life, and how his family have been raising money for JDRF, the type 1 diabetes charity.
This was a chance to celebrate the UK’s world-leading role in the fight against type 1 diabetes, as well as the launch of JDRF’s Type 1 Research Today report on how we can move closer to finding a cure.
