Today the CMS Committee held its fourth and final evidence session for its inquiry into gambling regulation. We heard from two panels today. In the first panel we heard from Andrew Rhodes (CEO, Gambling Commission), Sarah Gardner (Deputy CEO, Gambling Commission) and Tim Miller (Executive Director for Research and Policy, Gambling Commission). In the second panel we heard from the Rt Hon Stuart Andrew MP (Minister for Sport, Gambling and Civil Society, DCMS) and Ben Dean (Director, Sport and Gambling, DCMS).
The first panel gave the chance for the Committee to question the Gambling Commission, the sector regulator, about its work and what the Government’s Gambling White Paper will mean for them. The second panel will be an opportunity to put they key issues that have arisen during the inquiry to the Minister.
